JUOZAS KELIUOTIS ROKISKIS DISTRICT MUNICIPAL PUBLIC LIBRARY is non-profit organization, founded in 1923. It is an innovative, modern, environmentally friendly, consumer-oriented institution. The Library fulfils cultural, information and educational functions. Juozas Keliuotis public library was one of the first libraries in Lithuania that introduced a center of public Internet access and started computer literacy courses for citizens. Library offers exhibitions and other cultural events those are open for all visitors. At the moment services to the residents of the district are providedby a public library, 3 town and 35 village branch libraries. About 48% of population use library services, and there are up to 230 thousand visitors to the libraries per year. All the libraries are provided with computers and support public access to the Internet.
